Contents • • • • • Plot [ ] The story takes place somewhere in the Andes. It is revealed that during the Ice Age, a Predator ship landed on Earth and could not leave because it could not escape its gravitational pull. The Predators landed in a then-dormant volcano. Now in our modern time, a mountain climbing crew has gone missing in the Andes. Batman becomes the emissary of Superman, whom the Predators believe to be a sun spirit, through a show of strength.

Lex Corpshas summoned Clark Kent and Lois Lane to report on their recent discovery. An asteroid is heading toward Earth. No ordinary asteroid either. This asteroid seems to be sending out a distress signal that no one but Clark can hear, and he recognizes it as Kryptonian. Doing his famous duck out and then later returning as Superman, he reveals to Lois and Cheryl Kimbell (The newest CEO of Lexcorps) that there was a signal, and what it was for. Cheryl then loans Superman a ship to help him on the long flight to find out who is on the asteroid, and why they are distressed.

A must have for any serious Aliens or Superman collector / enthusiast. A fun & entertaining read! Very Highly Recommended!!

Sadly, there are so many plot holes and just plain stupid twists of logic and glaring errors in science. This is when I get angry. Clearly this work was put together to make a quick buck from the Alien franchise. The people behind the work must think that readers are stupid if they believe readers can enjoy this. It is interesting that Dan Jurgens does not write the introduction; I am under the impression he does not want to be associated with this work. The introducer actually applauds and recommends the work. Yet I too would be embarrassed.

However I would object to the notion that this book is devoid of any entertainment value because of the inherent awfulness. Or the idea that having a flawed story makes this book irredeemable. I enjoyed myself with this one, if even the flaws were glaring.

They are on Argo she tells him, and her name is Kara.

Further exploration puts him against an, but his depleted powers allow the creature to wound him before he is rescued by, another survivor of the city, who explains that the Aliens came from an abandoned freighter containing an Alien Queen that crashed on Argo years ago. Back on the Lexcorp satellite, the chestbursters (immature Xenomorphs) hatch from the hosts that Superman sent back, leaving Doctor Kimble determined to capture and analyse them while is forced to face an Alien in the hangar, only just managing to force the Alien into space by opening the airlock while she hides in the ship. As Kimble witnesses two of the remaining chestbursters 'hatch,' Lois torches the infants with a spray can and a match, but she and Kimble are forced together to escape the last, full-grown Alien as it begins to tear the satellite apart. As Superman and Kara attempt to escape, both of them are captured and 'impregnated' with, but this gives them an advantage; since Superman's embryo is that of an Alien Queen, the Aliens will not risk harming him. As they escape, Superman learns that Kara is not from Krypton, but from Odiline, the planet where The Cleric—-the being who originally gave Superman the -—laid the bodies of his Kryptonian followers to rest after their demise, with Odiline growing to revere Kryptonians as their spiritual protectors, adopting much of their customs and language. Reaching the freighter that brought the Aliens to Argo originally, the two discover escape pods and booths, but the pods launch mechanisms are jammed; the only way to launch them is to destroy the ship. While Superman preps the coordinates, Kara sets the core to overload before returning to a transporter booth; unfortunately, crucial seconds are lost when Superman uses the booth to teleport the embryo out of her, with Kara being forced out of the booth by an Alien attack moments before the ship is destroyed and the pod launched.

That's why people rally around shitty movies. In this case, a story about Superman fending off waves of xenomorphs while getting progressively less powerful (and inexplicably more naked) is at once both terrible and awesome. And that's quite alright with me. I won't object to reviewers who claim this book is terrible, or use an equally harsh synonym. They have a good case. The dialogue is clunky and Superman is, at times, a total doof.

Superman is the powerful Man of Steel. But which movie alien is better?

But even THIS is not the ultimate horror. Darkseid has his sights set on a certain brooding inhabitant of New Genesis.and has saved the most insidious role for him! Finally in issue # 4, While Orion seethes, seeking vengeance on Darkseid for unleashing a Parademon/Alien horde on the New Gods, Superman attempts to focus on their mission, to find and incapacitate the alien queen at the heart of this horrific infestation. Brainpower, as much as physical battle, bested the ravenous creatures in Superman's first encounter, but will the combined skills of Superman and the 'gods' of New Genesis be enough to overcome hundreds of Darkseid's Apokolips-Aliens hybrids? And what will be the final fate of Orion, victimized by an alien face-hugger? Can even a New God withstand the shrieking birth of a chestburster? Comics lot contains: Superman vs.

Who do you think won the debate? Did Ti or Cruz infuriate you by failing to make an important point about their respective alien’s awesomeness? Do you prefer your aliens good or evil? What’s your favorite movie alien? Do you think either debater deserves to be the ultimate victor in ALIEN WARS?

As another reviewer stated, it is 'hysterically' bad. I would laugh only it was so dumb at times that I actually grew angry. First of all, the artwork is terrible.

When he arrives at the asteroid he finds it mostly deserted, and ravaged. However, he discovers three people who are in need of medical attention. It was written by, with art by and. Plot [ ] In this sequel, acquires several Alien eggs, subsequently sending them to within several and unleashing them on his foes, with an embryo even infesting. Learning that he will die from the embryo within him, Orion accompanies Superman on a mission to to destroy the Alien Queen, despite the lack of sunlight on Apokolips weakening Superman's powers and Orion growing ever weaker from the embryo within him. Despite the odds, they manage to destroy the Queen. Darkseid subsequently uses his Omega Beams to destroy the embryo within Orion, claiming that Orion may be Darkseid's enemy, but he is also his son and it would be unfitting for him to die in such a dishonorable manner. After Superman and Orion's departure, however, Darkseid reveals to that, actually, Orion being infested was the central focus of his plan; with Orion having been given some evidence that Darkseid may still think of him as a son, his loyalties to may become divided at some crucial future date.

When the aliens break through the Kryptonian stronghold he refuses to kill the creatures, and as a result every single Kryptonian dies! Meanwhile on the Lexcorp station an alien has managed to sneak in. When it later attacks Lois all the doors lock automatically because the systems pick up an unidentified biological life form. Yet the creature's been there for some time and only when Lois grabs at the door does the super-advanced system (earlier we're told Lexcorp has more funding for space research than NASA) detect it? What about the other aliens that we're taken to the medical centre? And how could. But I will stop here.

There are many glaring inconsistencies between frames, and Superman's face manages the oddest and most ambiguous expressions imaginable. His costume tears up in such an odd way, all of a sudden the left leg is naked. And what is it with Lois Lane's hair?
