Go to yamaha and download preset library for the 10C. With my 10 plugged into my PC I opened up the library editor and loaded the THR10C.YDL.

I believe THR5 and THR10 settings are one and the same, the only separation would be for the THR10C and THR10X models There are new model presets and a revised THR editor (v1.1.0) on the Yamaha website downloads section. The previous version and the one attached to the THR5 and THR10 is version v1.0.0, this allows you to load the presets of the new THR10C and THR10X up to the THR10 (not sure of functionality as i'm guessing there are other software changes in the modelling engine to give the correct sounds) However if you download v1.1.0 and use it with the THR10C and THR10X preset files with a THR10 there is a restriction in place in the software i.e 'not for the THR10 model' warning dialogue. A few days ago I emailed guitarpatches.com to ask if the THR series amps could be included on the website since there was no other place on the web to share patches for these amps. Today Haax emailed me back and said that the site was updated to include a section for the THR 10 and 5.

Jeff The THR amp itself, is only part of the magic, your guitar, and mainly the pickups makes the other half. Some of the patches may sound muddy if your pickups are too 'hot'. Either roll back a bit on the volume, or alter the patch a bit with less gain. When using single coil pickups, some patches may need more gain to get the right growl, but it's doable.

I haven't dealved into mine too much as I have a cool setting on the hi-gain mode and I like it so much I never really went beyond that! Cool little amp. If you read through the manual, they say that the phones jack IS a line out!!! If you check the diagram, the phones jack has the same routing as the speaker outs. So you get the exact same output in both. I just got mine and is it ever a cool sounding little amp. I also read that you can turn on and off the 3-D imaging in the reverb settings.
