By CraveOnline Apr 14th, 2017 Photo: James Leynse (Getty Images) It’s hard to believe that it’s been more than 20 years since one of the greatest old school of the 90s, Tupac, tragically left us. Tupac Shakur helped define the music genre referred to as gangsta rap with his clever rhymes and serious subjects. During his life, he made 5 studio albums but had so much unused material that various producers were able to construct five more albums with various guest stars including Elton John, Phil Collins, Dido, and others. Although it’s arguable whether it’s his best album, The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory is certainly one of the most significant ones because it basically ended with his death. In a way, these are his last words and his goodbye. Let’s take a look at the album.

Could you please tell me what The Don Killuminati means then because you don't have no information on the concept. But you seem to have alot about the concept of Makaveli, and the 7 day theory but not one thing about The Don Killuminati like it's not even in the title of the album. The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory (commonly shortened to The 7 Day Theory or Makaveli) is the fifth and final studio album by late American rapper Tupac Shakur. It was released on November 5, 1996, almost two months after his murder.

One of the most important [albums] of the year. Perfectly captures the dark tensions arising from the centre of the vicious heat that is the City of Angels.

Two decades after his death, is still relevant and a fixture in the headlines. From to, the “Hail Mary” rapper’s name and body of work live on.

Identified himself with all of this. Enemies were all around him, so he had to take drastic measures.

Where is the proof that that is even him, I read somewhere that someone else added it after 'Pac's death. There needs to be a citation or a rewrite of the section on what is said at the opening of the album. Tracklist/Tracks Recorded Within The 7 Days [ ] Is it possible to add a section, with the tracks that was record over the three days, but didn't make it onto the album.

The song is considered one of his most famous songs and an anthem of the West Coast. “Hail Mary” on the other hand is about ignoring the enemies and finding salvation in faith. This is the principle he adopted as Makaveli, his new persona. The tranquil of this song is contrasted by both “Toss It Up” and “Me and My Girlfriend.” The former is the direct attack at his once-friend, Dr.

The artist just dropped his latest collection The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory – and we have it here for you to check out! Makaveli's new collection includes 12 tracks on 1 disc(s) with total runtime of 01:01:32.

Tupac wanted the album to be called; “Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory,” with Makaveli the Don referenced as the artist name and Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory as the main title. Death Row’s tumultuous staff at the time would incorrectly label the title as “The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory.“ Ronald “Riskie” Brent is the creator of The 7 Day Theory cover painting. The album cover, which features Shakur on the cross in an attempt to convey his by the media, is intended to imply an artistic resurrection. George “Papa G” Pryce, Former Head of Publicity for Death Row, claimed that “Makaveli which we did was a sort of tongue-in-cheek, and it was not ready to come out, [but] after Tupac was murdered, it did come out Before that, it was going to be a sort of an underground [release].” Recording and production Although many of Shakur’s usual producers were not involved in the project, the producers still managed to come through for the project. The only producer with whom Shakur had worked prior to this album was, the son of and brother of Shakur’s girlfriend. Shakur also co-produces three tracks on the album. The other two producers were and Darryl “Big D” Harper.

Albums have to be finalized a few months before the release date Is there a link to cite that the producers confirmed this? I work in the music industry, and have heard this as well, however tell an engineer that and he will laugh, its not possible. If you are talking about having no song concepts, no riffs, no lyrics, no song structures.nothing at all, then 7 days later a completed album finished to commercial standards then i don't what to say. My guess is, there was some preparation then they did the bulk of it in 7 days. And234jkohsn It's a well known fact Tupac would record 3-5 tracks a day. 20:05, 9 January 2007 (UTC) At the risk of repeating myself, is there a link to cite that the producers confirmed this?

2Pac recorded The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory in several days during the fall of 1996, shortly before he was gunned down in Las Vegas. It has since acquired a controversial reputation, and is neither the masterpiece its supporters claim nor the violent orgy its detractors allege.
