Please i request you important software for my computer because some of the important soft wares from the manufacturer get lost when i formatted my computer inclusive webcam software was lost,last i do request all important soft wares for my computer to function properly and efficiently on buying the computer i was given the cd drive but when i tried to reinstall some of the important soft wares were not found in that cd drive the very difficulty and impossible to access those important lost as i said before.thanks. Do you have any idea what could 'block' the webcam? I would guess it is the driver not working correctly, but I just cannot change it. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times now but it did not help. Thanks & best regards, Markus.

Windows says the driver is up-to-date. But testwebcam.com just shows a black picture - so obviously it does not work. The laptop was installed by our IT department but I would assume that they installed all the chipset drivers etc. Executing the webcam setups for vista or xp fails even though I use the compatibility mode. I guess the problem is, that there just is no (compatible) driver for win7 32-bit. I am despairing. Hi Rick, thanks a lot for your help!
